【2020 Baishatun Mazu Pilgrimage】

“Incense-offering” tours are the most common activity in Taiwan’s folk beliefs, and it is also the largest and most important event of the year for the believers. As the epidemic slows down, Gong Tian Temple in Tongxiao Town, Miaoli County will resume the ritual of incense-offering from Baishatun Mazu on foot to Yunlin Beigang Chao Tian Temple in June 2020, the whole tour will travel about 400 kilometers.
